I love good news!
Mason is completely off O2 and back on room air! His O2 Saturations are 99-100%!
Mason's rejection has significantly dropped!
We got the results back from today's biopsy (Biopsy 2) and it is a grade 1a. This is fabulous news!!! Biopsy 1 was a 3b (0= no rejection and 4 b being the highest level of rejection) which was a very high level of rejection..........but now he's dropped down to a 1a which is the 1st level above no rejection. Wow!!! He's made a lot of progress! I will not know the next plan of action until we get DSA (antibody) test results back on Thursday sometime.
Many prayers have been answered this day! Thank you!
To celebrate, Mason got to take a walk around the CVICU!
And on our walk we stopped to get a new cup ice. How else would Mason prefer to celebrate?!!
He was so excited about the ice, off went his mask, and off went the lid on the cup...........he just could not wait!!!

Wow Summer. I am so happy for you and Mason. This has been a miraculous day.
Mason and I kind of have the love of ice in common. The thing is... I used to crave ice whenever I was pregnant. After dinner as I cleared the table, I used to chew everyone's ice that was left over in their glasses. It was the best. Ok, I don't do it anymore. But, I do appreciate Mason's cravings.
This is such great news. Prayers for Mason all the way from Indiana! I stayed up late just to check in on his test results... enjoy those ice chips you deserve them. For you mom try and get some good rest tonight!

I just took a look before going to bed and saw the new post! I can tell you my daughter and I are skipping up the stairs to give thanks to God for another miracle.

Yeah!!! We are so happy for you. We are friends of Kaidence and her mommy. We've been following Mason for a while, and praying for him and you family. So glad for the good news.

Great News!! You go Mason!! Keep getting better so you can get out for more walks and DEFINITELY more ice chips! I understand... they couldn't give me enough ice chips after my OHS almost 6 years ago. Who would have thought that a hospital could take on the atmosphere of a Fourth of July parade. They say "you had to have been there," but you have written in such a way that we all feel that we were there with you and Mason cheering him on at this happy moment.
