Dear Friends and Family,

Summer has asked me to give a quick update regarding the Heart Cath that little Mason had this morning. Mason seems to be doing fine. However, Mark and Summer did not receive the news that they had hoped for from the doctors after the procedure. Due to some issues, Mason will no longer be eligible for a heart transplant. Their hearts are broken.

As far as I am aware, they will be bringing Mason home this afternoon. Please keep Miracle Mason and his family in your prayers. Also, this Sunday we will be having a special fast for Mason and his family. Mark and Summer have many hard decisions to make in the weeks to come and I know that through fasting and prayer they will be given the guidance and peace needed.

Mark, Summer and family........We love you and will do whatever we can to help carry you in the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Mason and all of your family.

With Hope, Faith and Love,

We are so sorry you guys. I was just talking with someone this morning who used to be in your ward and we were discussing the miracle Mason truly is. I do not know what to say other than we are praying for a miracle. I do not know what that miracle will be, only our Heavenly Father does. But please know of our love and of course any support you may need.
Heart hugs,

Summer, I can't stop sobbing! Mason is just exquisite. So is your and your family's love for him. He is just so exquisitely beautiful. Those curls! Those eyes! I know your love from him is as big as the universe. I can't imagine your exquisite pain. Hold him tight. May Heavenly Father hold you tight. You are his precious daughter!

Oh my heart breaks reading this...along with everyone else. I can't imagine what your family is going through. The heart families are always in my thoughts and prayers, but I will send a few extra heavenward for Mason! Maybe there will be yet another Mason miracle! Good luck and know there are so many thinking of your family right now!

I am afraid words are useless here, so I will offer my humble prayers to you and your precious baby boy. I am hoping that with all the wonders of modern medicine that perhaps a second opinion will offer hope and miracles, but I am not qualified to make that judgment, so I will pray that you are guided to the right decisions and the best Doctors on earth.
I am refusing to believe this news as I firmly believe in Miracles and will pray day and night until you receive one.

I also found your blog through the Simmons Family. Our daughter had a heart condition that is pretty much remedied after two open hearts and even through all of that I find myself in tears unable to imagine the kind of hurt and turmoil you must be feeling.

If there is one thing that I do know, its that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and will take care of us no matter what. I will be praying MANY prayers for Mason and for your family as you walk this tough journey ahead.
